Q: How much does a VEED subscription cost?

VEED Creator costs $20 a month, or $9.67 a month billed yearly ($116 a year), per user. Pro is $44 a month or $21.42 billed yearly, and Studio is $70 or $34.50. Enterprise is custom, and there is a free plan.

Q: Do you have to pay to use VEED?

No, VEED has a free plan, but it is limited: 720p exports with a watermark, videos up to 10 minutes, 10 minutes of auto subtitles a month and one try of most AI tools. Watermark-free 1080p starts with Creator at $9.67 a month billed yearly.

Q: Does VEED have a free trial?

Only for Enterprise. VEED’s FAQ says it offers a free trial to Enterprise customers with at least 3 users; individual plans have no self-serve trial, so the Free plan is the way to test it.

Q: How do VEED AI credits work?

Each paid plan includes a set number of AI credits per month or per year for AI generation: 500 a month on Creator, 2,500 on Pro and 15,000 on Studio. The allowance refreshes when the plan renews, unused credits don’t carry over, and you move to a larger credit allowance to get more.

Q: How do I cancel a VEED subscription?

On the web: log in at veed.io, click your profile picture, hover over your workspace name and choose Workspace Settings, then Workspace Billing and “Turn off auto-renewal”. VEED asks a few short questions before it confirms, then sends a confirmation email. Do it at least 2 business days before the renewal date. If you subscribed in the iPhone app, cancel in your iPhone’s Settings: your name, Subscriptions, VEED, Cancel Subscription. Cancelling stops future charges but doesn’t refund the current period (VEED help center, updated August 21, 2026).

Q: Does VEED have a student discount?

Not on its pricing or education pages (checked October 13, 2026). VEED gives teachers a free Pro account if they show proof of certification and current employment at an accredited school. Students can use the free plan, or the yearly Creator plan at $9.67 a month.

Q: Does VEED give refunds?

Rarely. VEED’s Terms of Sale say it isn’t obliged to refund you once you have used the service. Consumers who cancel within the first 14 days and never used it (no uploads, edits or subtitles) get a full refund.

Q: Is a VEED subscription worth it?

A VEED subscription is worth it if you want a full browser editor with automatic subtitles and can pay yearly: Creator at $9.67 a month gives 1080p, no watermark and unlimited export length. It is less of a deal billed monthly ($20) or if you need lots of AI generation, dubbing or several editors, since every seat is billed.

Q: What is better than VEED?

It depends on what you make. For short talking-head videos with automatic captions and one-click effects, StoryCut costs less (from $7/mo billed yearly). For free, hands-on timeline editing, CapCut. For editing long videos by their transcript, Descript (Hobbyist $16 a month billed yearly).

What VEED costs for a team

Because VEED charges per editor, team costs multiply. Billed yearly, 3 editors on Creator cost $348 a year, 3 on Pro $771 a year and 5 on Studio $2,070 a year. Billed monthly, the same teams cost $60, $132 and $350 a month. VEED charges you when you invite a new editor to the workspace.

What VEED’s price doesn’t include

Credits that carry over. AI credits refresh when your plan renews and unused ones expire; they have no cash value and aren’t refundable. To get more, you move to a larger credit allowance on your plan at a higher price, and if you later downgrade, extra credit allowances are removed at the next billing cycle with no prorated refund.

Unlimited translation. Subtitles are unlimited on paid plans (with a 50-hour monthly fair-use cap), but translations are counted in minutes: translating a 30-minute video into two languages uses 60 minutes, and unused minutes don’t roll over.

Dubbing on Creator. AI dubbing is a one-time try on Free and Creator. Pro includes 6 hours a year and Studio 12.

A trial. There is no self-serve free trial of paid plans; VEED’s FAQ limits trials to Enterprise customers with at least 3 users. The Free plan is the way to test the editor.

Refunds once you start. VEED’s Terms of Sale say it isn’t obliged to refund you after you have subscribed and used the service. The exception: consumers who cancel within the first 14 days and never used it get a full refund. To stop a renewal, cancel at least 2 business days before the renewal date; you keep access until the end of the period.

A fixed price. VEED can change its prices. Your current price holds until your next renewal, and VEED says it gives notice before a change applies.

The low monthly price. VEED’s headline prices are the yearly ones. Billed monthly, Creator costs $20 instead of $9.67 a month, and Pro $44 instead of $21.42.

Is VEED worth it?

Worth it if you want a full browser editor with automatic subtitles and can pay yearly. Creator at $9.67 a month ($116 a year) gives 1080p without a watermark, unlimited export length and unlimited auto subtitles, which is a low price for a full editor.

Choose Pro if you need 4K, AI dubbing (6 hours a year), more subtitle styles or several brand kits. Studio is for teams that generate a lot with AI: its 15,000 credits a month are six times Pro’s.

Think twice if you can only pay monthly (Creator more than doubles to $20), if you plan to lean on AI generation with Creator’s 500 credits a month, or if you want to try a paid plan before committing, since there is no self-serve trial and refunds end once you use the service.

Cheaper alternatives to VEED
