What one corrected video costs
BIGVU doesn’t sell eye contact on its own: it comes with AI Pro, at $39 for one month or $229 paid for a year. If you need two or three corrected videos, one month of AI Pro works out to about $13 to $20 a video. BIGVU doesn’t say whether eye contact uses AI credits or how many corrections a month a plan covers.
With StoryCut, your first video is free and a $9 pack covers 5 more, $1.80 each, with credits that don’t expire. If you record every week, compare monthly plans instead: BIGVU AI Pro is about $19 a month billed yearly, with recordings up to 59 minutes; StoryCut Pro is $14/mo billed yearly with 10 eye contact videos a month, up to 10 minutes each, and Business is unlimited.
When BIGVU is the better choice
When you want one app for the whole job on your phone: write the script with AI, read it on BIGVU’s teleprompter while the phone records, fix the eye contact, add captions and schedule the post. StoryCut doesn’t record video or post to social networks; it works on files you have already recorded. BIGVU also covers longer recordings (59 minutes on AI Pro), video emails, an AI Twin on Max and team workspaces, and Super Agent adds a coach who plans and publishes for you.
If you already record with your phone’s camera, a webcam or Loom and only want the eye contact fixed, a file-based tool is simpler and cheaper. StoryCut’s free online teleprompter covers the reading part in a browser, without recording.
